About MatchdayMood

MatchdayMood is an independent fan-made resource dedicated to football reaction stickers, GIF-style animations, meme templates, and matchday captions. We were created by football fans, for football fans, with a simple mission: to give supporters everywhere better ways to express their love for the beautiful game in chats, social media, and online communities.

What We Do

We design, create, and distribute original football reaction graphics that fans can download for free and use in their everyday conversations. Our content covers every matchday moment you can imagine, from the opening whistle to the final result and everything in between. Goals, VAR drama, penalty shootouts, red cards, pre-match nerves, halftime hope, extra-time panic, we have reactions for all of it.

Our library currently includes over fifty individual sticker designs, twelve GIF-style animated reactions, twelve customisable meme templates, and more than fifteen copy-ready football captions. Everything is organised into themed collections so fans can quickly find exactly the reaction they need for any situation.

All content is provided as free downloads for personal use. No subscriptions, no paywalls, no hidden costs.

Why We Exist

Football is the most emotionally intense sport in the world. Ninety minutes of play can take a supporter from pure joy to utter devastation and back again, sometimes within seconds. Fans feel these emotions deeply, and they want to share them with friends, family, and fellow supporters in real-time.

Traditional text messages and basic emojis do not capture the depth of football emotion. A simple smiley face cannot express the feeling of a last-minute winner. A standard thumbs-down does not do justice to the pain of watching your team collapse. Football fans need reactions that are specific to their sport, created by people who understand what it actually feels like to support a team.

That is why we created MatchdayMood. Every sticker, every caption, every meme template comes from genuine football fan experience. We create the reactions we wish we had in our own group chats, then we share them with the world for free.

Our Commitment to Original Content

Every single graphic on this website is created from scratch by our design team. We do not use stock images, clip art, or content from other sources. We do not use official football logos, team crests, player names, player images, or any copyrighted material belonging to third parties.

This commitment to originality serves two purposes. First, it ensures that our content is completely safe for fans to share without any copyright concerns. Second, it allows us to create graphics that represent universal football experiences rather than specific teams, leagues, or individuals. A cartoon player celebrating a goal belongs to every fan, not just supporters of one club.

Who We Are

MatchdayMood is run by a small team of football fans and digital creators who combine their love of the game with design skills. We watch matches, feel the same emotions as every other fan, and channel those experiences into the content we create. We are not a large corporation or a media company. We are supporters who saw a need and decided to fill it.

We do not accept paid partnerships with football organisations, betting companies, or commercial brands. Our independence allows us to create content that serves fans first, without external influence or commercial pressure.
